Thank you for wanting to be part of the Impacting Youth Trust movement and wanting to participate in improving the lives of the youth in Kenya. There are different ways in which you can become the change that we all need:

Volunteer

You can join the I.trust Internship and Volunteer program and to be eligible you must be:

• Must be willing to commit for a minimum of 3 months.
• A post-secondary graduate- graduate of a degree or diploma program from a university, college, post-secondary school of technology or post-secondary institute.
• Unemployed or Underemployed.
• Over the age of 18 years old.
• Must be willing to go out in the field and be proactive in the assigned project.

Mentor

To be part of our mentorship program for change, you must have the following basic qualities:

• Must be willing to commit for a minimum of 6 months.
• Must have a sincere desire to be involved with the youth.
• Must have an understanding and respect for the youth.
• Must be active listener.
• Must be having empathy.
• Must see solutions and opportunities.
• Must be flexible and open.

Sponsor a child

You can sponsor a child and help break the cycle of poverty and helplessness among families. Each sponsored child will receive shoes, school uniform, educational materials and sanitary items if required. In return, you will be able to follow up on the progress of the child through our online messaging system, quarterly school reports and pictures and videos. You can become part of the successful sustenance and completion of a program through donating your time, equipment or through financing.
